CEO
Mike Fernandes received his BSME from Northeastern University along with a Management Certificate from Wharton. After spending 10 years at Precix Inc. (formerly known as Acushnet Rubber Company) helping grow the company’s revenue by over $50mm in the mid-late ‘90s, Mike co-founded Polyneer Inc. a designer and manufacturer of elastomeric components. After building the company over an 11-year period and attracting customers like General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin, Halliburton, GE Appliance, Delta, Moen, and more, Mike sold his interest in the company to a large Italian firm and shortly after was hired to be the CEO & Owner of a small high tech radar company called Remote Sensing Solutions. Within 5 years, Mike helped quadruple the revenue and again attract major customers including Tomorrow.io who ultimately acquired the company in early 2021. Mike’s experience in both manufacturing and high tech were the perfect combination to lead ProtoXYZ and so, his two sons, co-founders of Proto XYZ, asked Mike to lead the company as their CEO. Mike coached his two sons in competitive soccer and is looking forward on coaching them in building a successful high tech manufacturing company.

Founded in 2021, ProtoXYZ is getting into the field of prototyping with a very experienced team of engineers. Our team includes a mixture of engineers with backgrounds in computer science, consumer electronic devices, product development, medical technologies, material science, and manufacturing.
We are very confident with our team’s capabilities that we will soon be a leader in the rapid prototyping space. We plan to do this by utilizing new technologies and providing instant quotes for these services. As we grow, we will expand our manufacturing capabilities to become a one stop shop for all rapid prototyping services.
